2024 ZURICH CLASSIC OF NEW ORLEANS PRIZE MONEY

At TPC Louisiana, however, there were some bigger names in the field than usual, with five of the top 15 players in the world in action. Two of those bigger names—Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry—ultimately won, defeating Martin Trainer and Chad Ramey on the first hole of a playoff. The Irishmen shot a final-round 68 in the Sunday alternate-shot format to end at 25-under-par total. They each took home $1.286 million from the overall purse of $8.9 million.

Another year has now passed without McIlroy completing a career Grand Slam at The Masters, but there is still an exciting few months ahead with three more opportunities to claim a fifth Major title.

The tournament is one of the PGA Tour’s signature events in 2024, and because of that, there is a limited field of just 69 players, while it is a no-cut event, meaning the biggest names will compete over all four days at Harbour Town.
